just realised i haven't hyperfixated on anything since succession ended, which was... what, a year and a half ago? i haven't felt motivated to write fanfiction or engage in fan communities since then. can't help but wonder if maybe that's why i've been feeling so weird and flat. i know it sounds corny but i really miss Feeling Things about fictional characters

#maybe succession fried my neural pathways and made me unable to enjoy media ever again #i think it had something to do with the fact that it was still airing when i got into it?#nobody knew what was going to happen and everyone was so active with theories and speculation #my dash would explode every time a new episode dropped #and it was the same thing with TMA (hyperfixation predecessor)#bingeing a show that's already out just doesn't hit the same
